This website is a place to connect with other parents who have lost a child and to share what you have experienced that you knew was a message from your child.
On October 24, 2003, my son Jon died unexpectedly at the age of 20. The life I once knew was now a distant memory. It was during my darkest moments that I prayed for strength. As I opened my heart, mind and soul I began to see, feel, hear and experience things that I knew could only be messages from Jon. I experienced seeing a vision of Jon as did his younger brother. I also heard messages from Jon when I asked for his help. There were unexplained electrical occurrences and noises in our home, and I also found that I had people come into my life at just the right time to help me through this tragedy.
As I spoke to other parents I recognized that my experiences were not unique as they too had encountered events that were unexplainable. The stories we share build a bond. We know the depth and darkness of pain, but as we heal we are blessed with the brightness of life. Simple moments do not pass us by. The stars are brighter, colors are more intense and a child's laughter heals our heart. We know that the "light" of our child shines from a very special place.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
